Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Harding County, New Mexico. You will work at a road-building project. Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance The role involves: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
