Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Scott County, Kansas. You will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels. Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Six days a week, one day off.
