Argon welder wanted in James City County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in James City County, Virginia. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
