Ladle pourer — Lewis County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Lewis County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day to day you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
