Cnc lathe operator wanted in Hardin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Hardin County, Iowa. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience.
