Day to day you will scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
