We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Mariposa County, California. You will work on a dam or embankment job. The role involves: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Part-time with flexible hours.
