Great opportunity: milling machinist (Massachusetts)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. Your main tasks: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
