Steel erection rigger wanted in DeSoto County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in DeSoto County, Florida. You will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals 4+ years on the tools preferred.
