Rebar fixer • Woodbury County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Woodbury County, Iowa. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Overtime paid at a premium rate.
