Kitchen steward — Fountain County

Join our team: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Fountain County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day to day you will mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room. What we are looking for: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) 3+ years on the tools preferred.
