Great opportunity: pressman (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Cowley County, Kansas. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
