We are recruiting: system formwork carpenter (Michigan)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Roscommon County, Michigan. You will work on a residential tower site. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking You will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
