Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Kolokuma/Opokuma, Bayelsa State. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. The role involves: • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
