Urgent requirement: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Roanoke County, Virginia. The job is on a residential housing site. Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Your main tasks: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
