Heavy equipment operator • Vermillion County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Vermillion County, Indiana. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. You will excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter. You should have: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
