Press shop operator — Herefordshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in Herefordshire, England. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. £2,550 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
