Immediate opening: shuttering and concrete hand (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Hertfordshire, England. You will be based in a residential housing project. Day to day you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time, day shift.
