Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Morgan County, Missouri. The role involves: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Six days a week, one day off.
