Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Floyd County, Georgia. You will be based at a food processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade The role involves measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
