GTAW welder wanted in Charlevoix County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Charlevoix County, Michigan. You will work on a structural steel site. You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
