Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements On a typical shift you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat.
