Collision repair technician — Butler County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Butler County, Iowa. The role involves: • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder Requirements: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
