Tyre and wheel fitter • Piatt County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Piatt County, Illinois. You will be based in a commercial truck tyre depot. On a typical shift you will replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts. What we are looking for: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
