Now hiring: we are hiring a road roller operator in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence On the job you will handle: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
