Urgent requirement: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Montgomery County, Iowa. The job is at a refrigeration and cooling firm. Ideal candidate: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage Day to day you will core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
