Long-haul driver — Wilkes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Wilkes County, Georgia. You will be based at a container freight yard. Your main tasks: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars Requirements: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
