Carpenter wanted in Bienville Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a carpenter in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. On the job you will handle: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet You should have: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
