Great opportunity: VMC operator (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Missaukee County, Michigan. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T 1+ years on the tools preferred.
