Now hiring: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Worcestershire, England. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
