Refrigeration field service technician — Los Angeles County

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Los Angeles County, California. The job is on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts The role involves: • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges $4,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
