Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Sainte Genevieve County, Missouri. The job is at a busy iron foundry. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Rotating shifts. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
