Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Sapele, Delta State. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
