Shuttering carpenter • Jefferson County, West Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Jefferson County, West Virginia. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience.
