Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Crowley County, Colorado. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 2+ years on the tools preferred.
