Great opportunity: we are hiring a HSE officer in Hyde County, South Dakota. You will work at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions On the job you will handle: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site 2+ years on the tools preferred.
