Furniture maker • Blackford County, Indiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furniture maker in Blackford County, Indiana. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Your main tasks: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
