Tig welder — Mineral County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Mineral County, West Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time, day shift.
