Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Nye County, Nevada. The role involves purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. Requirements: • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
