Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Oneida County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers On a typical shift you will cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. We offer $190 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
