Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Winkler County, Texas. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day to day you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
