Steel erection rigger — Elmore County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Elmore County, Alabama. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
