Tig welder wanted in Newport

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Newport, Wales. Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
