Gas pipe fitter wanted in Imperial County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Imperial County, California. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations On a typical shift you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
