Natural gas fitter — Walker County

Now hiring: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Walker County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites The role involves: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points 4+ years on the tools preferred.
