Quality assurance assistant • Falkirk, Scotland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Falkirk, Scotland. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. You should have: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor You will compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. £2,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
