Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Amherst County, Virginia. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On a typical shift you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
