We are recruiting: we are hiring a puncture repair technician in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy tyre bay. Day-to-day duties: • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine You should have: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
