Glass and glazing technician — Wythe County

Join our team: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Wythe County, Virginia. Requirements: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Day to day you will fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
