We are recruiting: we are hiring a presser in Jasper County, Mississippi. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. On a typical shift you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
